What do you do when you meet the difficulty of gaining new users?

I speak with existing users! I ask them: "What drove you to seek out Transistor, and how did you find us?"

I agree with @mijustin. I would try to talk to existing users initially. If you have no users or were working on the project before launching it, you should talk to those who seem to do things you’re building it through your product.
